The Center for Ignacian Formation and Campus Ministries (CIFCaM) is the pastoral service body of St. Mary’s College, Quezon City. It is made up of the following ministries:
+ Campus Ministry
+ Pastoral Ministry
+ Alumni Affairs
Through the CIFCaM, the school offers the Ignacian Marian Community various programs and services that develop their deeper faith-life commitment in and outside SMCQC Community. Thus the center provides (1) spiritual opportunities (liturgical and para-liturgical celebrations, retreats/recollections, and the likes); (2) pastoral formation (Ignacian Formation Program, Catechetical Instruction, Sacrament of Confirmation, and advocacy talks/seminars); and (3) alumni concerns (homecoming/reunion, reach-out activities, scholarship funds, etc.)
The Center focuses on the three goals:
a. Responsive Integration of Faith and Life in the School Community
To initiate programs towards responsive integration of faith and life in the school community.
b. Greater Involvement in the Church’s Call for Evangelization and Mission
To promote and implement programs that encourage greater involvement in the Church’s call for evangelization and mission.
c. Active collaboration and stronger linkages
To coordinate and implement programs and activities that lead towards active participation of Alumni in school and community relations.
